I have to say that at first, some of his advice just did not make sense -a bit unconventional. But after he explains why and when you just follow his advice and his timetable, it works. The Magic of Making Up requires some patience, practice, and discipline on your part. You may have an imagined sense of urgency about what actions you should take with your breakup. You may think your ex is going to forget about you and move on if you do not continue to stay in touch. You may feel some of the exercises and techniques are a waste of your time. My advice is to just trust the process, stick with it, you will emerge a much happier person. As I went through the program, I found it was chock-full of useful and relevant knowledge about the sexes and relationships in general: You will learn what men and women crave the most; How to apply the “clean slate” technique to speed up the forgiveness process; When to apologize and when not to; And lots of powerful people skill techniques that you can now be aware of and use to your advantage.
